Don't miss the opportunity of a lifetime as the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps visit the MHS Marching Mavs - 1 day before our band camp starts. If you want to see how a professional marching band gets it done, you won't want to miss this.
From El Maestro Scheuch:
"The Boston Crusaders are here, and they have posted their schedule for today. Please note that they will be leaving earlier than expected so they can do laundry and head to Virginia.
9:30-11:30 - Visual
11:30-1:15 - Sectional
1:15-2:15 - Lunch
2:15-3:30 - Ensemble
So, the best times to watch are Visual and Ensemble. They will do a run-through of their show at 3:15 on the practice field. You don't want to miss it!!! "

Retrofit Nearly Complete for Mavband's Website
Hello Mavbandfans!
After nearly two months of work, the first part of our retrofit to the Mav's website is complete. Check below to see the latest changes:
Current Enhancements:
1) Signup Pages now have "auto responders" that notify you that your request was received. Your request still has to be verified by the committee chair for it to be official.
2) Forms now are more "hackerproof" to provide security to your requests.
3) New Mavband Band Camp Page has been created. You can check out what the latest Band Camp news is from this page. The link is: http://www.mavband.com/bandcamp.html
4) Flash Based site has been changed to all html, php, xml and xhtml. We do still have some flash embeds that add to our site.
Future Enhancements:
1) "Absence Request Forms" will be enhanced to make it quicker to get the report to Mr. Scheuch.
2) Sponsors Page will be updated with the most recent information.
3) Secure "Members Only" section will be created for Booster Members to access Booster Financial Activities.
4) A possible "forum" if it is requested enough.
5) Possible Polls for your enjoyment. (All non political)
If you have something you want to see, please let me know and I'll see about getting it done for you.
Contact me via email anytime!
Thanks for reading my blog!
