*** Volunteers Needed - $25 up for grabs..
From Kaye Emsley...The Greenville Drive has asked for volunteers to man a concession stand on Sunday September 21st as part of the Arts in the Park Festival. The concession will run from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please let me know if you are interested. We have limited slots, so positions will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Thanks to Mutt's BBQ for sponsoring the 23rd TOB's this year. We will have more info for you as it becomes available. We will need to staff their Tent for them, so if you want to volunteer, please contact Lori Linville at lori.linville@mavband.com
*** Upcoming Fundraisers
We will be visiting Gatti Town soon for our fundraiser and to support a very good and long time sponsor of the Marching Mavs. Keep an eye out for more information.
*** MHS Football Team
The football team is now 2-0 when the band plays for them. We only mention that to say thanks for all parents and friends wearing the mavband shirts at the games as they support the band.
*** Competition is 9/20
Our first competition will be Saturday, September 20th at Travelers Rest. We have directions and information on the website.
